Full Job Description :
The Energy Efficient Systems and Communications (EESC) group in Intel Labs is a highly innovative research team that works closely with key product group partners to define and prototype advanced systems and communications architecture to optimize energy efficiency and network connectivity across mobile and server IA platforms. You will be expected to contribute to the ongoing research projects as well as grow to initiate new research focus topics and drive development and/or execution through hands-on simulation and/or prototyping work to thoroughly evaluate novel ideas for future platform and communications architecture. The ultimate goal of the research work is to influence future Intel product roadmap through internal technology transfer and intellectual property development, and drive industry leadership and alignment via industry forums, conferences and standard organizations.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. with a minimum 3 years of experience in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Networking and/or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and architecture development including system analysis, problem decomposition, and a pragmatic understanding of how real systems are put together.
- Minimum 3 years experience in designing energy-efficient wired and/or wireless network protocols and protocol stacks
- Proficiency in windows/Linux networking and driver development a plus .
